Terms of Use
Last updated 2 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the YieldShift website, our free financial calculators, and the YieldShift platform. By using them, you agree to what follows.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using yieldshift.co, our tools, or the YieldShift platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
YieldShift provides a finance platform for founders — accounting, capital, cap table, and vesting — along with free financial calculators and educational content. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Not financial, legal, or tax advice
Our calculators and content are for information and education only. They rely on the assumptions you enter and on general models, and they are not financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Outcomes are estimates, not guarantees. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your money, taxes, or company.
4. Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the activity of members you invite. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful purposes.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you put into the product. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Beta and availability
The platform is offered free during beta. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change as the product matures. We will give reasonable notice before introducing paid plans.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, reverse-engineer it, or use it to violate the law or the rights of others.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YieldShift is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on its outputs.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
